Here is a catchy ear worm for you. Ed Rose (formerly Black Lodge Studios) and I collaborated on this song at the Lawrence, KS Public Library SOUND+VISION Studio (libraries rock!), featuring him on bass guitar and drums.
I worked with Steve Tulipana (Season to Risk) for his featured guest vocals on this track. Another fun day in the studio at Weights and Measures Soundlab with Duane Trower.
What is missing?
Look closer.
Yep, it's just how I learned to play guitar. That means a lot of my songs contain diminished chords. Not something you hear all the time.
Before I learned guitar, I was hiding from my choir teacher. I was the kid who was mouthing the words while everyone else was singing. When he discovered my game, I had to stay after school to rehearse with him. It was that day, my voice was found. I was 16. Some say my voice is a little like David Bowie or Roy Orbison. I ended up going to college on an opera scholarship and music became the only way to live my life.
